Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Minenite (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. It covers our Minecraft network, websites (including this GitHub Pages site), and Discord application / bot. By using the Services you acknowledge this policy.
1. Who is responsible
Minenite operates the Services. Contact: blazehavenservers@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:
- Discord data you authorize, which may include your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and the servers (guilds) you share with the application. If you grant additional Discord scopes, we receive only what Discord sends for those scopes (for example email, if that scope is enabled).
- Minecraft data such as username, UUID, server you are on, play session times, chat as needed for moderation, and client brand (for example whether you are using a modded client), so we can run the network and enforce rules.
- Technical data such as IP address, connection times, and similar logs generated by the game proxy, backends, website host, or Discord when you connect.
- Content you submit such as Discord messages to the bot or in our servers, support emails, and in-game chat or builds.
We do not require a separate Minenite account form. Discord and Minecraft already identify you on those platforms.
3. How we use information
We use this information to:
- operate and moderate the Minecraft network and Discord community;
- authenticate you through Discord and, where applicable, link a Discord identity to a Minecraft identity;
- assign roles, show server status, or provide other bot features you opt into;
- prevent abuse, cheating, spam, and security incidents;
- respond to support requests;
- comply with law and Discord’s Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Discord data to advertise to you off Discord.
4. Discord-specific use
Data obtained through Discord’s API is used only to provide and improve the Minenite Discord application, as Discord requires. We do not use that API data to train machine-learning models. We do not share Discord API data with unrelated third parties except as needed to host the application (for example a server we control) or if required by law.
5. Sharing
We may share information with:
- service providers that host the website, game servers, or the Discord application (currently including GitHub Pages for this site);
- Discord, Mojang/Microsoft, and GitHub, as part of using their platforms;
- staff moderators who need it to enforce rules;
- authorities if we believe we must in order to comply with law or protect people.
6. Retention
We keep logs and account-related records only as long as needed to operate the Services, handle disputes, and meet legal duties. Moderation records (for example bans) may be kept while they remain relevant. You may ask us to delete data we control; we may retain what we must for security, abuse prevention, or law.
7. Your choices
- Revoke the Discord application in Discord → User Settings → Authorized Apps.
- Leave our Discord server and stop playing on the Minecraft network.
- Email blazehavenservers@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold.
We will not be able to delete data held solely by Discord or Microsoft; you must use their tools for that.
8. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13, and Discord does not allow users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you use them from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no online service is completely secure. You use the Services at your own risk.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
